The voice you listen to matters. Here’s a little pick me up for the days you want to give in to the lies of this world.
You can find joy in the “why me” moments and choose to celebrate the goodness of God and His Truth and love for you. Or you can choose to lean into the voices of the world that make you feel like you don’t measure up, you aren’t good enough, you’re unsafe, or unworthy. Don’t listen to the critical voices, listen to Jesus!
The voice you listen to matters:
- Jesus is our living hope, the only true source of Truth! {John 14:6, John 8:32}
- You are loved by Jesus. {John 3:16, Galatians 2:20, Romans 5:8, 1 John 3:16}
- In Christ, you are accepted, you are enough, you are His beloved. {John 1:12, 1 Corinthians 6:17, Ephesians 2:18, 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, Colossians 3:12, 1 John 4: 7-8}
- You are not a failure. You can do all things through Him. He’ll give you the strength to endure the hard things. {Philippians 4:13, 1 Corinthians 10:13, Romans 8:28}
- You can walk in freedom and embrace the victory God has for you when you walk in the Truth of His Word. {Philippians 4:6-7, Ephesians 6:10-18}
- You are not alone. Even on days you feel like it. Jesus is near and waiting for a relationship with you. {Matthew 28:20, 2 Thessalonians 3:16, Matthew 11:28, Psalm 16:8, Isaiah 41:10, Joshua 1:9}
- Today is a new day, with new mercies. Tomorrow is a new day too! And all the future days to come. {Lamentations 3:22-23, Matthew 6:34, Psalm 118:24, Philippians 3:20}
- There is hope for your future. {Jeremiah 29:11, 1 Peter 1:3-4, Romans 15:13, Psalm 39:7}
The voice you listen matters, it can bring life or death.
The enemy fills your life and your head with lies.
Jesus is the Truth. There is no darkness in Him.
Lay down your measuring stick. Pick up His grace. Wear it like a cape as you move forward into this day and the life that He has designed for you!
God is greater than whatever you face today.
The same is true for all your tomorrows.
God is “Emmanuel.” He is with you always!
Choose to listen to the only Voice that matters! Tell the other voices, in your head and the world, to take a hike!

Heavenly Father, thank you for your grace. Thank you for your abundant kindness and love. May I rest in Your presence and may my mind be restored through your Word. You are greater than anything I face today. And I am enough, when I put my faith and trust in you. Thank you, Jesus, for loving me and deeming me worthy, when the rest of the voices threaten to drown out your Truth. I am worthy and loved by you. In Jesus name. Amen.
