It’s easy to get caught in a toxic cycle of comparison. You start measuring your worth based on the things you own or the people around you.
It sets you up for a shame spiral you were never created for! When you cherish the truth about who God says you are:
You switch your mindset from perfectionism to grace.
You become more grateful, even in hard times.
You realize you don’t have to be perfect.
You walk in the freedom that only Jesus provides!
God is with you in your hard things.
And He’s waiting for you to lean on Him to get through it all.
I don’t know how people get through life without Jesus! I grew up in an abusive home. A Jaws of Life car accident took away my ability to run and participate in sports. It also started an endless battle with chronic pain and weight gain.
I’m a thyroid cancer survivor. I also struggled for years with infertility and went through a painful, failed adoption of three sweet siblings ages 2, 4 and 6 that shook my marriage and my faith.
But God never left me during any of these trials. GUESS WHAT? He’s with you in your hard stuff too.

I thrive on creativity!
I’m a squiggle in a world of squares and triangles. I think outside the box and thrive on creativity. My world is not black and white, it’s bursting with color! Web and graphic design is my jam. Adult coloring books and bullet journaling too. I’m not super crafty. I flunked a crochet class once!
Music + coffee = joy
I’ve been a fan of coffee since Grandma and I dunked doughnuts in her mug and I got the last sip with all the mushy pieces at the bottom. Super gross, right? I love to sing! I began leading worship at a large church at age 9. Clarinet was my jam as a kid. I’ve been trying to learn guitar for 20 years!
I’m an encourager!
I left a very cushy corporate marketing job to go into ministry. I’m a digital content manager and on-air personality for a regional Christian radio network. I also speak at women’s events and write for print + online. I get to encourage people daily for my job and I love it. It totally brings me joy!
